Data science boot camps target students with an undergraduate degree who have a special interest for statistics and math. Working knowledge of a programming language, such as R or Python is a plus. The boot camps last for a period of six months with the primary goal of preparing graduates for entry-level and junior data science jobs. Skills taught include data visualization, predictive analytics, data analysis, statistical analysis, and selected areas of programming. Successful completion of the program helps students to master a wide range of libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, Scipy, Scikit-learn and Matplotlib.
